2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms of Service:

• We, "us" and "our" refers to Campfire Security ApS
• Websites" means campfiresecurity.dk, campfiresecurity.com, campsec.dk and all subdomains of these pages.
• "Services" includes virtual labs and challenges that are accessible through the websites.
• "Content" includes websites, services, learning paths, courses and other materials and services accessible through the websites.
• "Infrastructure" includes the servers on which our websites and services are running and the communication networks used to access these.

3. About our terms

• When you register an account with us, you agree to the Terms of Service (ToS) specified in this document. You also agree to be responsible for complying with any applicable local laws.
• The terms explain how you may use the Content. By using the Content, you agree to be bound by the terms. If you do not agree with the terms, you should stop using the Content immediately.
• These terms also include our Acceptable Use Policy. By using our Content you agree to these as well as to our privacy policy.

4. Using our Content

• Our Content is for personal use only. This means that your user account should be used by you only. You are not allowed to provide access to others through your account.
• You are not allowed to attack the Websites, other parts of the Content or Infrastructure by introducing attacks or materials which are malicious or technologically harmful to any part of the Content or Infrastructure. You are also not allowed to gain unauthorized access to Content, infrastructure, or other elements which are obviously not part of solving the challenges.
• You are not allowed to use our Content or Infrastructure to engage in unlawful, inappropriate or abusive actions.
• We may prevent or suspend your access to the websites if you fail to comply with these ToS.

5. Registration and Password Security

To access the Content, you must register an account. You are responsible for keeping the account details secure and confidential. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we have reason to believe that the account has been breached or is being misused.

6. Ownership and Intellectual Property Rights

• The Intellectual Property Rights of the Content – including text, images, video, audio, other multimedia content, and software - is owned by Campfire Security ApS. Some of Content might belong to other entities and used by Campfire Security ApS based on appropriate licensing agreements.
• The Intellectual Property Rights of the software used to provide the services is owned by Campfire Security ApS.

7. Disclaimers

• The Content is provided on an 'as is' basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied.
• Further, we do not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy or reliability of the use of the Content.
• We may make changes to the Content at any time without notice. While we are not obliged to update Content, we always appreciate feedback, comments and suggestions on the content we have.

8. Hyperlinks and Third Party Sites

Our websites might contain links to third-party websites and resources. We do not control, endorse, sponsor, recommend or otherwise accept responsibility for any of this linked content. We are not responsible for such third-party websites and encourage you to read their terms of conditions and privacy practices before use.

9. Limitation on our liability

Our liability for loss and damage for you as a a customer cannot exceed the total fees paid from you to us. This limitation does not cover liability which cannot legally be limited.

10. Uptime of Service

We use cookies to keep you signed in on our services.

• We do not guarantee that our Content is always available, and all or some of the Content might from time to time be unavailable e.g. due to operational reasons, security reasons, or maintenance reasons. We are trying to keep our Content available at all times and will try to give all users reasonable notice of interruptions.
• If access at certain time points is critical, you are always welcome to contact us on beforehand at kontakt@campfiresecurity.dk, so we can be particularly aware.

11. Changes to our Terms of Service

We keep our Terms of Service under regular review and places any updates on this web page. This Terms of Service was last updated on June 29, 2024. We may change this Terms of Service at any time. You can always find the most recent Terms on our websites, and you can see the version date in the document.

12. Payments

• All payments to Campfire Security are handled by a third party provider. Please visit their website to read more about the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• All payments are final and non-refundable, except for the cases stated in 13.
• If your account is closed or suspended due to violations of conditions stated in this document, you will not receive a refund.

13. Specifically for private customers

• As a private customer, you can always cancel the agreement after 5 months of subscription, with a 1 month notice before the end of the month. Just send an email to kontakt@campfiresecurity.dk, then we will take care of it. We will refund you proportionally, with the exceptions of purchases of less than DKK 2.000, which are not refundable except for the reasons mentioned in 13.2.
• As a private customer, you have the right to cancel the subscription within two weeks from subscribing. However, you agree that the right to cancel ceases as soon as you start using the subscription actively, i.e. by starting to access training materials or virtual labs. If you want to cancel the agreement under these terms, just contact us by emailing kontakt@campfiresecurity.dk.

14. Termination

• You can terminate this agreement at any time by closing your account. Please contact us at kontakt@campfiresecurity.dk if you want to close your account.
• We can terminate your account at any time, in case of violation of the conditions started in this document. If your account is terminated, and you disagree with this decision, please reach out to us at kontakt@campfiresecurity.dk. We will be happy to review your case, but we are not obliged to change our decision.

15. Fair Use Policy

We want everyone to have a good experience with our content and everything we offer. Therefore, please exercise a friendly behavior. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Don’t break any local, national, or international laws.
• Don’t use our services to harm or attack others. This includes bullying, insulting and humiliating other persons and/or organisations.
• Don’t attack our websites, infrastructure or the software used to provide our services.
• Don’t try to gain unauthorized access to any parts of our Content, infrastructure or software that you do not have authorized access to.

If you break our Fair Use Policy, we will assess the situation and take appropriate action, which can include but is not limited to: Instant withdrawal of your right to use our services (permanently or temporary), giving you a warning, legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs and losses resulting from the breach of the policy, further legal action against you, and disclosure of information regarding the breach to law enforcement authorities.

16. Jurisdiction and Disputes

In case of disagreements, the matter is referred to the ordinary courts of Denmark and shall be governed by Danish law.
